Royce comes off more aggressive on tracks, so if they were to actually ever battle--which would be fucking amazing--Royce might one up Budden.

Because Canibus let Wyclef, the guy he was working with at the time, tell him that Eminem wrote LL's diss track towards him and then Canibus started dissing Em and Em had to diss Canibus on numerous tracks (Square Dance, Can-I-B***h, Role Model, Say What You Say). Though the song would be dope.
I think Royce and Joe are both talented MCs, but I give the edge to Royce due to his beat selection (with DJ Premier associations) and his consistency. As far as Royce's opinion goes, all Joe had to do with collaborate with him.

Call me stupid for asking this...........But what does either of these guys get out of battling each other??
Dont get me wrong, it would be good for Hip Hop overall b/c it plays into that "who's better?" question that is at the very core of Hip Hop.
But neither of them is really at the top of the rap hill right now. They need to be trying to figure out how to make a come up ($$$$$) instead of wasting time battling. And it sounds like Royce wants that as well.
They're both good lyrical MC's in they're own right. Im fans of both. UNITY!

I don't think D12 and Mistah FAB count for bragging rights in battle wins... you know Joe is way above their league (especially FAB, I listen to D12). And as far as styles, creativity trumps aggression on a track to me. But Royce and Joe are nice.
