I agree 200% with Doct P. He's what Hip Hop REALLY is. Alot of people talk about hip hop, but have no earthly idea what it REALLY is. Hip Hop is an influential, UPLIFTING (LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN) UPLIFTING voice. Trap music and gansta rap is NOT hip hop. It's a great art form, but it's not hip hop. Kanye's the man.

I really dont understand what happen with the whole "whats real hip hop" movement thats goin on now. Im from jersey, grew up half my life in Camden, and half my life down south in Houston texas, and from my life experiences i think we all fell off track with what Hip Hop is, Hip Hop is all, its how you live, its rap, its poetry, its ya brother out on the corner, its ya drunken dad, its a good birthday present, its ya first child, its being rich, its being poor, its negativity, its positivity, its happiness and its anger, frustration and humbleness, its ya favorite dish at a 5 star restaurant, its ya mac-n-cheese and ya ramon noodles, its ya hatin niggaz and da niggaz dat love ya. Hip Hop is life, and we all need to stop arguing over if its dead or alive, everything in the universe changes, things die everyday, and new things are born, nothing stays the same, Hip Hop dies in the eyes of a man that is dead!
