thats true about the electoral college. but all the electoral college means that the state with the higest popular vote wins. thats how the college usually picks the candidate for that state. so it is still important to vote. dont be fooled by this swing state shit. every state would potentially be a swing state if everyone voted. people look at the news and be like,"my vote wont count here because this state usually votes one way". but if people didnt think like that and just voted, we would have to rewrite the map on voting
