I feel you. It is really rare to sell a milli first week, and I am definitely a Lil Wayne fan. However, Soulja Boy is wack as fuck and HE is killing hip hop. I have more talent in my ass then Soulja Boy had when he wrote YAHHH TRICK YAHHH; lets be real. Nas is a legend though, and it would be disappointing as a fan if Soulja Boy outsold him.

yo dude as far as l.a.x. goes, its aiight..

the beats are pretty superb, and some of the features are really well placed, but i still think some of the songs are duds.and some of the songs that are "bonus" joints DEF should have been on the album..

but overall, its pretty sick and i think it is in between doctors advocate and documentary...because the documentary introduced him, doctors advocate was him fuckin around with his style and getting some HUGE producers/names on the cd, and this one is just him proving his staying power in the game.

ill give it a 8.5/10

Hey Whats Good Man, sorry you dont agree with the Review, but theres not much I can do. You have to understand that the quality of music will vary depending on the listener, my reviews may not always be what you agree with, but they were never meant to be the ultimate decision on an album. The Reviews are just meant to point you in the direction of opinion, it is up to you to come up to the final decision, And understand a 7.5 for one album is very different for another album, I know to you that might not make sense but thats just the way it is.

Depending on the artist and the level of their skill a seven Rates Differently.

If an artist or a group was not expected to offer anything of much merit, than a 7 means that not only was the album decent, it was above average So when G-Unit Received that 7.5 that was the reason why. They may have spoke about a lot of the same things they did on their first album, but when TOS Came out the song quality was still interesting ear catching and enjoyable.

When Carter 3 got a 7 it got a a seven based off of its huge let down, although some feel that Carter 3 was a great album, it is this writers opinion that to have three years to work on this album, and with all of the hype that he built about being the best rapper alive, This album was supposed to prove that and it didnt, it may have been different from other albums he's made but it didnt rise above any artist thats made an album. So For him a 7 eqauls a little above average but a huge dissapointment.

Your not always going to agree with the reviews that are given for albums, and you dont have to but understand and trust that the reviews are fair and will always have proof to argue their case.

yeah that was my mistake that message was meant for somebody else, but I listened to the album several times, and no matter how many times I listened, the verdict remained the same for me, if you break the album down technical wise, as far as content, lyrics, and production, its a decent album but its flawed in many areas. But thanks for the feedback, im used to the backlash for some of my work, it comes with the territory of being a writer.

I am a fan of Talib, I like his music, but just becuz he's who he is doesn't he can get away with a bullshit freestyle about nothing. I personally know cats that can really freestyle (nothing written) that are struggling to make a name for themselves. Then you have a proven artist kick a wack freestyle like that on live radio. Come on man, I don't care who disagrees or not, I'm not feeling it, thats my opinion

Yes I believe spittin off the top of the head is better than doin a written verse and callin it freestyling. But some people write better than they can freestyle. Freestyling doesn't make you a valid artist to me, thats why I respect Talib for his songs, he writes those, but his freestyling ability for a well known "hip hop" east coast artist is weak.

Luda, Wayne, Jay, Em, and a bunch of other cats can come off the top alot more smoother and make more sense than what he just did.
