oh yeah. if you read my about it says real hip-hop only. not this commericialized hip-pop garbage. you feel me ?
I Feel Ya Homie. I'm Still New To This And Need Rome Around A Bit. I Got Ya On The Commercialized Garbage, Shit Is Irritating And Not Good For Hip-Hop.
Gahaha, you little ho ass. Sike.
That's the thing, the REALLY BIG PICTURE, is that records are selling EVERYWHERE else. The music markets in Europe and Latin America are EXPLODING. It's why someone like Ricardo Arjona is pushing millions of albums in a week, and Juanes, or Diana Rogotz, or Il Divo.
They all have the internet too, believe it or not, but those artists are connecting with their fans. There's a type of regional Mexican music called Duranguense. A group will put out like 3 or 4 albums in a year, and each one will sell upwards of about 400,000 albums.
It's a super underground form of music though, it's just now breaking the main-stream. The main difference between their business model and ours is that they're touring before they even release an album. Fans know the songs before they get the album, then the album comes out and it's quality stuff.
It's a matter of putting it down! Straight up, if it was all because people are downloading then how does a band like The Eagles sell a mill in two weeks? Or Carrie Underwood sell 252,000 in her 52nd week? Or Usher sell 8 million copies?
Kn'aaaaaaaaaaaamsizzzlllllllllleeeeeeeeee. And even IF sales were down because of downloading, it doesn't mean labels can't make money. They're just dumb and not changing with the market.
