Wow, he said some real shit though when you think about it. He really didn't have much promotion at all for Buck the World. Neither did Banks for his last album.
Smart move for Buck, 50 is losing alot of credibility which ultimately means so was buck, which is part of the reason I didn't buy his last album (my brother did though lol). Im definitely copping whatever he puts out after he leaves intersope though.

Oh yeah, and Buck will still sell without the unit simply because he's built up a dedicated fan base, due to his mixture of talent, and realness (if that's a word).
So you really think niggas is gon say, "I aint buyin Buck's album since he ain't with the unit"? He proved that he can make music, and I'll admit, the way 50 came out helped all of them sell initially, but after 50 lost that status of credibility, it was purely based on their ability to make good music, and Buck can make good music, simple as that.
This might help him sell more depending where he ,ends up, and who produces the majority of his tracks.
T-Mix, cash money's new producer, is one of the best right now if you ask me. I can see him producing some real bangers for buck, because dude got Birdman's production on point, and I credit my ability to be able to listen to 5* Stunna to T-Mix's production ability. He also did most of Like Father Like Son.

D-Tay used to be Buck's sidekick & partner in rhyme. When I first heard him comin' up, it was always Young Buck & D-Tay. As far as sellin' w/o the unit, I think he can stay on the charts if he keeps promoting himself
I think it would get more promotion without the unit to be honest. He's the boss of Cashville Records, he can do whatever he wants to. I never saw anyone from the unit saying go out and get Buck the world but when Curtis was about to drop, 50 was everywhere. I know he wants to sell, but Buck was his artist, and it was up to him to help with promotion.
As far as yall talking about D-Tay, I guess I might be wrong then. I didn't know too much about Buck before G-Unit. The only nigga I really been fucking with from Cashville alot is Allstar (Cashville Prince). If you ask me, he's a better rapper than buck, and Starlito's Way 1 & 2 are classic mixtapes.

he couldnt have made a smarter move. If he heading his own label then hes only gonna have to sell 250,000 records to make the same amount of money that he would make off of his record going gold under a major. He wont have to recoup for the studio time or the marketing costs that his current label would over charge him for and take out of his earnings. As long as he pays for his own expenses out of his own pocket then every thing he earns his. And on top of that he can now deduct the costs of his expenses from his taxes. There are so many perks from owning your own label that it dosnt make cents to whore for someone else when you could be keeping all that money to yourself. Buck is very smart and savy for taking the initiative to make it happen. 50 made more money off of bucks lasts albums than buck did because 50 owns g-unit records. Just like eminem makes more money off of 50's records than 50. And Dre makes more money off of eminems records than eminem. You cant blame buck for doing the damn thing man. He been watching the trickle down effect for 5 years now.
