Akon wrote the hook...he has the same version wwith Akon I think they did it to compare those two; Whos the real R & Thug? Akon or Nate Dogg?
My Answer- Who gives a shit but i think it was a tie even tho Akon wrote the chorus.
This was off Blue Carpet with Akon on it, same song different singer. And for the record this track is a monster, Dre with that beat, sooooooooooo smooth. Love it
this shit smash..i like nate better though....fucka akon!!!that nigga look like starving marvin....WESTCOAST!!!
Snoop was never a lyricist, but this is just sad.And who beat is he rapping over, I know I've heard it before by another rapper.I think it's a old Busta beat, but I might be wrong.
Snoop didnt even write this song, The D.O.C did (not dr.dre for some of you fools)
wanna be dr dre u gimme jokes man
hahahahhaahah stfu Dr.dre i killed him on the last thread he keep quite the only think u can say is BITCH BITCH fuck u wannabe u mom is a bitch
Dre you right, Busta did this beat a while back Calling out all the major cities and states.. I don't really remember how it goes but that beat is crack.
i like snoop, old snoop that its:
"Creep with me as I crawl through the hood,
Maniac, lunatic, call 'em Snoop Eastwood
Kickin dust as I bust fuck peace
And, the mothafuckin drug police
You already know I gives a fuck about a cop
So why in the fuck would you think that it would stop
Plot, yeah, that's what we's about to do
Take your ass on a mission with the boys in blue"- Snoop; Deep cover(187 on an undercover cop)
"Snoop was never a lyricist, but this is just sad.And who beat is he rapping over, I know I've heard it before by another rapper.I think it's a old Busta beat, but I might be wrong." ---Evil Dre
A young Snoop (93'-96') was a beast.
ITS A BUSTA BEAT THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE BLUE CARPET ALBUM BECAUSE THAT ALBUM WAS GAR-BA-GE!
OH YEA...AKON SOUNDED BETTER THAN NATE! Snoop had the best west coast album right over E40 and bleu davinci. Nate Dogg let Akon come and take him over! AKON IS EVERWHERE!!
Does no one realize that this was a not just a sample but a blatent beat snatch from the Busta Rhymes E.L.E. Album? The beat is tight and everything, but everybody needs to stop giving dre so many props for this. All he did was update the drums and piano sounds, and a little strings to touch it up. And oh yeah, I like the Nate Dogg version much better. West Coast!
i think akon suited dis track, but nate dog is undeniably the king of hookz.. akon iz up there tho
my son snoop dogg is a fuccin "G" do u c his tru3 suit thats g ed up u dig
OK SNOOPY WAS FLA66ED OUT IN THIS VIDEO. I ROCC WIT THE C'S. THA 8-BALL AINT BROKE.
classic material...snoop rapin....nate with vocals...and Dr. dre wit the beat
