I know those two are legends in the game but that does not mean every song they make is hot. If anybody else put this out this song out, it would be considered mediocre.

I'm not sure exactly what he means by it, but let me try and explain it from my point of view.
When Snoop first came out he was considered a lyrical rapper but nowadays he falls mostly in line with swagger rappers with a touch a lyricism. A rapper who takes care of his mind should be at his prime right now but most rappers don't. Thats always been a problem with music most artist lifestyle don't lend themselves to longevity and as long as they still sell well when they come out they don't bother. Tell me you didn't get goosebumps when Snoop spit on Hollywood divorce, because you know thats how snoop use to spit consistantly. He went from being the star of the chronic to a footnote on chronic 2001.
