I don't think that question can be answered without that region bias. Northern niggas don't respect our music like they should and we don't respect that music either. In reality all the subject matter is the same. Same dope, money, guns, hoes, and problems.
We just speak two different languages. And we don't get each other for the most part. I can name plenty of northern rappers that i think he is better than; just like you can name plenty of rappers that you think he can't fuck with. Thats not even a fair question. JMO
