He's an old school dj, producer and rapper from the early 90s. He had a couple hits with Cl Smooth but they were very underated. Go check out his albums "All Souled Out," "Mecca and the Soul Brother" and their last album "The Main Ingredient." Personally I think "The Main Ingredient" wuz their best one.
Word. Pete Rock ain't gettin' enough love on this track. He's been in the game for a minute and he's still making good music. Pap definitely did his thing on this track. Had Good lyrics + good productions.
