Hey people maybe I am wrong but this song will not be on his album. This is on GTA IV if I'm not mistaken. Honestly I will say this is ok for the game, not for his album because his first single is hot and this is not all that great. Not compared to the other but who knows????
I agree totally. This will have u noddin' while ridin' through liberty city for awhile but it won't be on the album, has nothin' to do with the concept anyway. They need to have "Fear of a black man's dick," up here, that's gonna get more plays than anything online, on the strength of the title alone. There are a lot of different "number one's" out there right now, but in 20 years when everything is gay and souljaboy-ish. We, REAL hip hop rans, will probably look back and say Nas was the Greatest Of All Time. He is the Bob Dylan of Rap, a 2008 Bob Marley. Jay-Z's style is duplicated and mimicked throughout the game, but no one even tries to clone Nasir Jones, they all just say he was their biggest influence.

I disagree, I don't see a reason why this isn't album material. Just because it's in a videogame shouldn't change the fact that the track's amazing. What we can all agree on is that Nas put in work as usual. Album is gonna be a classic.

I see where you and others are coming from, but the whole concept "War Is Necessary" could convey so many different meanings. Furthermore, I don't think every song on the album is going to be racially motivated. That'd just be repetitive and noone likes repeated material over a new beat. Then again, this is all speculation.
