what exactly do u mean "old hip hop"??? the sped up sample.. i.e. kanye-esque?.. just blaze-ish?... and the diplomat records from a few years back?... are you serious?.. unless youre talking about a different "old hip hop" i dont know about...pretty sure KRS-1, Rakim, LL, NWA...never used this kind of production.. i guess old is a relative term.. but frankly i LOVE this beat... its not poppin & snappin...u cant walk it out to this song.. but this is the kind of hip hop production i love... NO I.D. is the shit.... coast to coast L.A. to Chicago!
