don't get me wrong, lupe is a talented lyricist, but i can't get down to his music. his rhythm is always off, and this beat is tired. i know we got a bunch of lupe fans in the place, but the truth is this guy is average.

how is Lupe "just average", his rhyme schemes, rhythms, and flows are so intricate and technically advanced compared to 90% of any other rapper out. In terms of MCing this guy near the top right now. I've said it before, rap is like wine it gets better over time, cuz you can't possibly catch everything in one or two listens, esp with the more skilled MCs. That's why people don't get it, they only listen once or twice and give up, you've got to look deeper and actually listen to really appreaciate
