typical? I think t-pain was above average on this one. all his newer stuff has been improving. i used to not like him at all...but im learning to accept him since he is on everybody and their moms songs

What a BOOST talkin bout having 7, 8, 9, 10 #1 hits lmao. T-Pain has had Buy U A Drank and that's his ONLY one. If you even want to count the ones he's been featured on, there's Kiss Kiss with Chris Brown and Low with Flo-Rida. Other than that, he has two Top 5 records (I'm In Luv & Bartender). He's very limited when it comes to actual talent.. he's gotta be one of the worst live performers ever, as well, since he ain't shit without AutoTune. I'm just being real. We know that hits don't make a quality artist, a la Soulja Boy.

well this is for you guys who disagreed with my opinion---> you made valid points 1st off..i didnt make it clear, im not saying Tpain is a musical genius... i dont know how many "hits" hes had or what their chart positions were..im just saying, he has a lot of popular music thats either his or hes featured on it...& usually HIS presence MAKES it a hit...i luv common, mos def, the roots...but i also like laid back "club type music"..and of THAT genre, Tpain is untouched right now...THAT is his worth...Tpain clearly knows how to make great club style music imo... he isnt going to compete with the hip hop elite.. but for HIS genre..for laid back, drinking, hunting for poontang music...Tpain is the king of that castle...at least right now... i like what he does, i enjoy most of his music..and im not gunna hate on him... i DO think he has talent...and talent is always subjective...
