I'm with you on that and i'd definitely like to see more southern rappers putting more into being lyricist but we all know what happened up there when everybody wanted to be the typical mc...The lyrics got boring and so did the beats...Everybody sounded the same(which ain't no different than what it is now) and the West snatched it from the East...The East got mad then too because the South got behind the West because we got tired of the lack of creativity...So, a big portion of the East vs West shit is because the South supported the West artists and stopped supporting the East as much..Same excuse was used then too...(but it's not real hip hop)Now because we support our own artists we're suppose to feel guilty about it or something I guess...The West had their style of music going on at the same time as the East and there wasn't a problem until they started outselling them..The South has always been about booty shake, club, bounce and bass music since the early 80's...Why wasn't the East screaming it wasn't hip hop then? Because we only had a small handful of artists doing significant numbers..The more steam we picked up the more hate we got as well and that's why we're at the point we're at now..Bottom line is the South or West aren't going to have a bunch of artists mocking the East and we know hip hop started there but rap was here first and it was started in the South in the states..Go read you history books and how the slaves passed along messages and things...All of this dates back to Africa so if we are going to call it the way it is poetry created rap, which created hip hop music..So, it goes from Africa to the South then to the West and North simultaneously.....Break down rap/hip hop lyrics and tell me they are not wrote in the style of poetry..It's a reason Africa Bambatta and the Zulu Nation have those names because they understood where we came from and how important it was to this new movement..All of this comes from Mother Africa..Not the Bronx, Brooklyn, Atlanta, LA or anywhere else in the U.S.A....This is our music as black people not just black Americans..We are quick to disregard our African, West Indian and Lation brothers in hip hop but they are closer to being heirs of this than any of us to be truthful..Hip hop music is nothing more than poems recorded over beats...When I think drums and beats I think Africa...So, my whole point is no one has to rap like anyone else because this is all of ours...We are all nothing more than spin offs from the beats and poems created in the Motherland...
Check it out the further North the niggaz went the more they wanted to be like the crackaz back in the day..They wanted to speak proper in a language that wasn't their own...So, that's why people up there concentrate on lyricism and proper grammar while we just react off feelings because that's what was passed down..We didn't have the opportunity to truly better ourselves until about 25 to 30 years ago...Schools were still segregated in certain areas up until the mid to late 70's..We haven't had as much time to concentrate on education..We had to concentrate on survival..It's a reason so many niggaz ran North..That's why those same survival skills push us harder to get what we want..If you sit back and think about a lot of these things it all makes since..One other thing..Think about why we are so much closer and not filled with as much jealousy, envy and hate ...Because once most of the niggaz got up there they adopted cracka ways and took advantage of the new blacks as they made their way up...Them crackaz had everything in a choke hold and forced the blacks to fight for the scraps..Only difference was more people down here had integrity, morals and values so we stuck it out together instead of just worrying about self and fucking over our people like that...The more we take on their way of thinking the more we'll fuck over each other and become more and more materialistic, selfish and jealous hearted..We are slowly losing what lil identity we do have by trying to fit into their world instead of making our own...Niggaz work to get out of the oppressed ghettos, poor country cities and states to become rich race trading slaves..

Yo, in my humble opinion, Buddens is one of the most talented rappers of ALL TIME....BUT he sounds like a disgruntled rapper right now. First off, the track is fire, but this isn't going to save hip-hop. What he needs to do is to just keep banging out hits after hits and stay on his grind. This way when he does put out a track like this, more people will hear it other than the hardcore fans and it will make more of an impact. The majority of the people that is hearing this track already knows what's going on in the game, it's the ringtone fans he needs to get the message to...it's kinda like he's an angry pastor preaching to the choir right now. I'm with you on that and i'd definitely like to see more southern rappers putting more into being lyricist but we all know what happened up there when everybody wanted to be the typical mc...The lyrics got boring and so did the beats...Everybody sounded the same(which ain't no different than what it is now) and the West snatched it from the East...The East got mad then too because the South got behind the West because we got tired of the lack of creativity...So, a big portion of the East vs West shit is because the South supported the West artists and stopped supporting the East as much..Same excuse was used then too...(but it's not real hip hop)Now because we support our own artists we're suppose to feel guilty about it or something I guess...The West had their style of music going on at the same time as the East and there wasn't a problem until they started outselling them..The South has always been about booty shake, club, bounce and bass music since the early 80's...Why wasn't the East screaming it wasn't hip hop then? Because we only had a small handful of artists doing significant numbers..The more steam we picked up the more hate we got as well and that's why we're at the point we're at now..Bottom line is the South or West aren't going to have a bunch of artists mocking the East and we know hip hop started there but rap was here first and it was started in the South in the states..Go read you history books and how the slaves passed along messages and things...All of this dates back to Africa so if we are going to call it the way it is poetry created rap, which created hip hop music..So, it goes from Africa to the South then to the West and North simultaneously.....Break down rap/hip hop lyrics and tell me they are not wrote in the style of poetry..It's a reason Africa Bambatta and the Zulu Nation have those names because they understood where we came from and how important it was to this new movement..All of this comes from Mother Africa..Not the Bronx, Brooklyn, Atlanta, LA or anywhere else in the U.S.A....This is our music as black people not just black Americans..We are quick to disregard our African, West Indian and Lation brothers in hip hop but they are closer to being heirs of this than any of us to be truthful..Hip hop music is nothing more than poems recorded over beats...When I think drums and beats I think Africa...So, my whole point is no one has to rap like anyone else because this is all of ours...We are all nothing more than spin offs from the beats and poems created in the Motherland...
Check it out the further North the niggaz went the more they wanted to be like the crackaz back in the day..They wanted to speak proper in a language that wasn't their own...So, that's why people up there concentrate on lyricism and proper grammar while we just react off feelings because that's what was passed down..We didn't have the opportunity to truly better ourselves until about 25 to 30 years ago...Schools were still segregated in certain areas up until the mid to late 70's..We haven't had as much time to concentrate on education..We had to concentrate on survival..It's a reason so many niggaz ran North..That's why those same survival skills push us harder to get what we want..If you sit back and think about a lot of these things it all makes since..One other thing..Think about why we are so much closer and not filled with as much jealousy, envy and hate ...Because once most of the niggaz got up there they adopted cracka ways and took advantage of the new blacks as they made their way up...Them crackaz had everything in a choke hold and forced the blacks to fight for the scraps..Only difference was more people down here had integrity, morals and values so we stuck it out together instead of just worrying about self and fucking over our people like that...The more we take on their way of thinking the more we'll fuck over each other and become more and more materialistic, selfish and jealous hearted..We are slowly losing what lil identity we do have by trying to fit into their world instead of making our own...Niggaz work to get out of the oppressed ghettos, poor country cities and states to become rich race trading slaves..

Yo, in my humble opinion, Buddens is one of the most talented rappers of ALL TIME....BUT he sounds like a disgruntled rapper right now. First off, the track is fire, but this isn't going to save hip-hop. What he needs to do is to just keep banging out hits after hits and stay on his grind. This way when he does put out a track like this, more people will hear it other than the hardcore fans and it will make more of an impact. The majority of the people that is hearing this track already knows what's going on in the game, it's the ringtone fans he needs to get the message to...it's kinda like he's an angry pastor preaching to the choir right now. Just my two cents. I could be wrong.
Speaking of fadeouts... I know of at least TWO occasions of fades on MM3 (Ventilation and All of Me) I could use a part two to those too.
