You know what the biggest problem about people dissin' on people like Dipset and what not, is that they don't understand to what extent these guys are influencing our youth.
And not just in a bad way. Whether or not they're really gangster, their market is people going through that type of life style. You might argue it's Middle America that's buying the albums, but it's the kids in every hood that's going to the library with head phones just to bump something to relate to.
This isn't as bad as people are makin' it to be--but it has a purpose. It's giving hope to an entire generation that they can come out of what they're going through and start their own businesses, work for no body but themselves.
Doods like Dipset aren't just rapping, they're taking their money and flipping it. Jim Jones got that ringtone deal then what'd they do? Went and bought property. They can eat, and they can feed their families. If not for their music then for the positive influence they're having on our communities.
'Cause on the real, we can't hold them responsible for what's going on in the hood. We gotta' hold the racist ass infrastructure accountable for it.
