I'm far from a Lil Wayne hater but American Gangster would of been CLASSIC w/o Hello Brooklyn. That track prevented that album from reaching that classic status b/c every other track was fire except Hello Brooklyn. Lil Wayne should of at least rapped, that nigga instead sang and he sounds like Macy Gray singing. CUT THAT SINGING SHIT OUT WAYNE.
Can't really blame Wayne from stoppin a whole album to be a classic.. Some of the other songs were just decent at best.. Not like all of them will be remembered forever Like most songs from a classic album are.
Nah I thought pretty much the rest of the album except track 4 (hello Brooklyn) was on point.

Because a classic album is for the most part flawless. "Hello Brroklyn" prevented American Gangster form being flawless because damn near every other track was hot, imo.

Hello Brooklyn jus didnt fit in wit the rest of the album. it didnt make sense musically or lyrically. and it sounded 2 much like a lil wayne song. probably da worst song on the album. the rest fire. i like the t.i. sample though

American Gangster is one of Jay's best albums ever. Honestly I would put that album against any album since 2004. Song for song and line for line.
