Son what you mean what makes him a poet??? This nigga got poetry books published. And them shits aint lyrics, they are actual pieces. All rappers to some degree are poets, but Pac was a poet in the classical since of the word for the simple fact that he had published works.

Pac had alot of beef cus he made it that way....for sales.....He was 50 cent before 50...I didnt make clear what i was tryin say earlier....What i was tryin to say is that pac was the most overrated person in the entertainment biz history......He is average as a lyricst....a poet, and all that...but in terms of working at his craft, and effort, and selling himself he is prolly the best...i respect him for that...he was grinding.....but far as lyrically i mean come on ......you named one song.....Nas whole career has been telling a story...I mean ILLMATIC was unreal...lyrcally UNTOUCHABLE......And greg far as him being a published poet, if i had millions of dollars i could get my work published as well....Im not taking nothing away from him being gifted in many areas, but he is just overrated.
