all these dudes are are brought up in a conversation about whos the best rapper.like right now if u look at the list mostly everyone is sayin cassidy is the best rapper alive. then if u look at a jay-z or jadakiss song and look at the comments everyone is sayin hes the best rapper alive. lil wayne is brought up in every song and its annoying. all im sayin is dont call a rapper the best just because he says hes the best. cuz honestly no one wus sayin that wayne wus the greatest rapper alive until he started sayin t, no one said T.I. was the king of the south until he started sayin it. the only rapper that was once named the best and never called hisself the best was rakim. and where is now? i havent heard a new rakim song since the first grade. the REAL reason why hip hop is dead is cuz of fans, they worship these rappers instead of just listening to the music. and it comes to the point where its not even about music anymore, its all about clothes,guns,gangs, whos real and whos not real, whos gonna sell more then who... just listen and love the music

good point^ but neither jada nor nas has ever proclaimed to being the games best rappers alive, loc'd out fans and their supporters just categorize them as being the best, which is actually a good way of learning which rappers belong in the elite conversation... in my personal opinion there is no best rapper alive, there are alot of good quality rappers out there with the right mindstate and quality music to keep the hip-hop movement moving.
Nas HAS said he was the best! Maybe not in those words but basically saying your the K.o.N.Y. means you're the best... Or even on Nastradamus or the QB album when he said, "You should idolize Nas in the flesh. Don't wait 'til I'm gone to say I was the best."
