You know what, I feel you to an extent, but that is just a label Weezy gave himself, like LL is G.O.A.T., Nas is God's Son and T.I. is the King of the South. And people can't stand it. He may not be in a category with Pac(no one ever will be, he's a martyr.) but he's one of the best in the game. He's coming from different angles. He's versatile to where Pac was deep. He spits metaphores like Cass, can make the party pop, get your chic wet, or spit some real shit like Gossip or BMJR. He even can chant on some Reggae ish. I give credit where, credit is due, I've only liked him the last few years but he's one of the most advanced artists around right now. In that regard, you can compare him to Pac because Pac was so advanced these tracks he recorded years ago can come out now or another 10 years from now and you'll still get the same effect. I ain't a Lil' Wayne Stan but I gotta let you know why he deserves to say that.(I myself don't feel he literally is "The Best Rapper Alive" but I really can't think of anyone else besides maybe Jay to even argue the ish.)
