Will Nas's controversial album "Nigger" see the light of day this month?..Not likely says an inside source.
Initially, the album was scheduled to hit stores in late February with it's lead single debuting in January.
According to the latest word, the controversial album which has sparked numerous rumors since it was announced has been pushed back indefinitely.
"Nigger" is also a no-show on Def Jam's first quarter release schedule which shows Rick Ross's Thrilla (March 11th), Razah's sefl titled album (March 18th), and Rocko's Self Made LP (March 18th) as the only releases in the forthcoming months.
In a recent interview with XXL, when asked about the possibility of his album getting pushed back, Nas said that if it were to happen, it would be his decision.
"People gotta give me more credit than that. That’s not fair, if I push my shit back, to blame it on somebody. This is me you’re talking about.
This is not somebody that just signed yesterday. This is somebody that’s been in the game a long time, put out a lot of albums. I know what I’m doing.
So when I push my shit back, deal with it."

As for nas, PLZ don’t push ur album back, I resvered a copy of dat album n I’ve been watin 4 SO FUCKIN LONG 2 grip my hands on it
but nas does have a point on when he says he knows what he’s doin…he had a successfull career so guess we gotta trust him on this….but im still mad its not comin out
oh well, it’ll still be good whether its out this month or April/whenever.
Cant blame a nigga for wanting to tighten up his album. Especially not a nigga like nas. Plus with the huge strain on the record industry right now he could be waiting for a more artist-friendly month like may.
Fuck that, next Nas will be selling promotional noose’s for DIY lynching.
Or offering holidays on plantations picking cotton!!
