In 6 months, Jay-Z’s reign as President of Def Jam Records will be over.
According to sources inside DefJam, there are a couple of new people being considered for the job, such as Dame Dash, and most notably, Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond.
Jay has spoken of wanting more money this time around, which could be leading the sudden search for a different(and less money-hungry) person for the position.
Henchmen, who was once set to take over Virgin, has reportedly been sought after by Warner Bros. as well. Despite his ties to the West Coast, and managing superstar rapper The Game, could He be next in line for the Presidency?
