The change that he brought to the game came in those 98 99 times when Master P was putting out 3 garbage albums a week and niggas was on that shit. Jay came in and reminded everyone how good hip-hop could sound in a time where it was being over run by trash no limit shit.
Jay-z held that crown for a long ass time until another ill nigga came in and used his flashy arrogance against him when jay thought he was undefeatable. Ether was truly the stone that slew goliath.
