Various Artists – Snoop Dogg Presents The Big Squeeze
Putting a various artists album together is not the easiest of tasks. The selection of artists is often a tricky thing, especially when you want to achieve a real album, and not something sounding like a mixtape. The first thing that comes to my mind after listening to “The Big Squeeze” is that Snoop didn’t really know what kind of record he wanted to make. of the record store you do to. But when you pick up Snoop Dogg from the shelf, you’re thinking you’re buying a hip hop record. The second part of “The Big Squeeze” makes you feel robbed of your 15 bucks. These songs are probably supposed to be club songs, or something for the ladies, but to be honest, they make you press the fast forward button way too often. You don’t really pay attention to what the songs are about, you just keep asking yourself, why the hell are these things even on this. With a lot of ohhhs and ahhhs, the second part of this album is straight up garbage and completely ruins the whole experience. The last song kind of tries to save the whole thing, but IF you make it to last song, you’ll just say “meh, wasn’t worth my time”.What more can be said about this album? It’s a disappointment. You’d really like to hear something better from Tha Doggfather. The first part of the album saves it from being a complete disaster, but even with that, it’s a mediocre cd at best. Score 5.

Well, I never expected much of this when I read the previews, but I wanna check it out, but I ain't a bootlegger, so I'll prolly just take your word for it. Snoop hasn't been making quality shit lately as it is (The Blue Carpet Treatment) and this doesn't help his rep. Step it up Snoop.

Um well let me add my 2 Cents! Snoop always been wack for a min plus he dont have a buzz without Dre or Pharrell and that is well known. All those underground artists he got on there are wack too! This is a disgrace and i guess when you've been in the limelight for a while u pretty much dont care how u blow your money. This project looks like a waste of time. If niggaz just wanted to smoke n rap they should have released a mixtape but n e waay im not a big fan of westcoast music so this pretty much doesnt matter 2 me!
Snoop is just tryna get some homies out the hood, he's just tryna make them some money and set them up. that's all.
say what u say about this album but no one has more consistent 16's then Tha Doggfather. when its a feat. for a smash snoop always delivers...hands down
