While the Roc-A-Fella/ Diplomats conflict is still going strong, according to former ROC artist Beanie Sigel, everything wasn’t all that bad when they were all united.
He explained to MTV the situation surrounding the label, saying:
“Everybody had their own little opinions about everybody,”“[But] Cam, he was rocking the Roc-A-Fella chain just like I was. It was never to a point where it was, like, that crucial, where muthafuckas couldn’t be in the same building together or studio together and all that. It wasn’t to that effect.”
It’s been well known that Camron likes Beanie, and Beanie is Jay-Z’s man as well, meaning he never had any problems. However, he just doesn’t understand the reason behind the beef.
Preparing his next mixtape is on Beanie Sigels agenda, especially after the recent trouble he’s been in, leading to his probation being exentended an additional 6 months.
He still insists that all relations with State Property/Roc-A-Fella fam are all kosher, but was rather “short” when it came to discussing Dame Dash, offering: “We cool,” in response.
We still have no idea what label Beans is on, but he predicted that if he were still signed to the ROC, that none of this beef would be going on.
