Yung Berg, who was scheduled to perform at 102.7's Summer Jam on Saturday in Detroit, was allegedly beaten and robbed. Because of injuries sustained in the attack, Berg was unable to perform.
According to reports, Berg was assaulted and robbed of his jewelry by a group of men at Plan B nightclub on Friday night despite having security.
The men reportedly approached Berg over comments he had made about Detroit rappers in a previous visit to the city. Ironically, Plan B nightclub is owned by Detroit rapper Trick Trick. The assault left Berg 'badly bruised' and his “Transformers”
chain was part of the jewelry that was taken from him during the altercation. Check The Chosen Few's blogs, above, for pictures of the supposed chain on Trick Trick's brother. Trick Trick declined to comment on the incident.
