Young Joc Denies Chain Snatching Rumors
Bad Boy rapper Young Joc has shut down reports that his massive H pendant and rope chain were snatched off his neck during a brawl at a MOBO award after party.According to early reports, Joc and T Pain were involved in in a melee at a post-MOBO party at the Crystal Club, which doubled as Yung Joc’s birthday bash.
“A fight broke out and T-Pain jumped in to save the necklace but he couldn’t stop the thief running off.” Said A witness.
Young Joc however claims thats not what happened.
“Pain was talking to this chick and this big football-player-looking dude came up. He was big as hell” Joc tells MTV News.
“The dude grabbed her arm and she was like, `I’m not leaving…’ The next thing you know, the dude started talking s**t to Pain. The dude poured his wine out and… I looked back at my security (guard), gave him my chain.
He put it in my case and handed it to (manager) Rico. “Then the dude hit T-Pain’s partner in the head with a glass in his hand.” The attacker attempted to flee the club but was stopped by a member of T-Pain’s entourage – and a fight broke out.
But Joc’s $150,000 jewellery was kept safe throughout: “The craziest part about this is I’ve never seen so much hype about a piece of jewellery.”
Diddy Closes Justins
In semi-related news, Sean “Diddy” Combs has officially closed his New York restaurant and hot spot,”Justins.” According to a statement made by the mogul’s camp, the 10 year old establishment was shut down because Diddy is looking to expand and relocate the business to a different location in the city.
“Bad Boy is seeking a larger footprint for the restaurant in the New York City area, as the size and location of the restaurant no longer fit the Justin’s brand,” the statement said.
“The company sees the larger Justin’s Restaurant in Atlanta, which takes up most of a city block, as the prototype for the new New York City location. Bad Boy representatives are evaluating a number of options for a larger space in some of New York City’s prime traffic areas.”
