Big Ups 2 Jeezy then!
I don't think most thought Ghost's album was gonna do big numbers. Still like it tho
BIg surprise.....The nicca who be all over tv, and got all the new age production sells more then the nicca who dont give a shit bout none of that..lol.....Jeezy cd was good but where does the difference lie between thug motivation? I mean seriously.....Nothing new, nothing creative.....The best track to me is I got money, dont get me wrong i bump the cd to make the system in my truck go crazy, but i knew what he was gonna say before i unwrapped the damn cd...... Again im glad he sold 300k cus its just more black people gettin paid.......But there was no surprise in him selling like that and ghostface not....
thats my nigga jezzy
GHOSTFACE'S NEW ALBUM IS HOT!!! So what he didn't do big numbers, Ghostface ain't about that anyways...and I believe his shit is waaaay better tha Jeezy's. But aye, that's just my opinion, I remember the whole Wu era so I'm never gonna write those niggaz off ever! But it's a new day and these youngster's act like the Wu doesn't matter, like them niggaz weren't doin' it big in the 90's...ya'll need a history lesson...GO COP "MORE FISH"!!!!
Damn!!!! I expected Ghostface album to flop. The album is premature.I got released to early to me.To me it just seems like Fishscale just dropped. He should have got the best tracks off both albums and put them on 1 album together like Yo Gotti did while still recording new songs.
living proof -if old school wanted ppl to not forget...then don't quit your craft and break up.....bc thats what happens...you stop and some one new takes your spot. regardless if they are better or not...ppl don't wait. example...fugee's ooo la la la....now they get back together do a new song ppl don't give a fuck...to keep them at the show they doo old tracks...why bc thats when they were hot. good concept...and i hate to say it but when wu gets back on...no one is going to give a fuck...not the new market. old school is still waiting for bobby brown to sing full time with new edition. and we saw that shit and let me tell...no one gave a fuck.
Like Supastition said, "classic album sales don't have to go through the roof"
exactly!....reasonable doubt didnt go platinum till like 2001..lol
Ghostface gon' b in dis 4ever, and whoever thinks Jeezy's better based on deez recent album sales is crazy. Jeezy jus' da newest face in rap and everybody jumpin' on his bandwagon. I also agree, dat he has nuthin else 2 talk about but da same ol' shit. As far as da Fugees, everybody loves da Fugees, and WU, shit man. They shit's like 'Pac's/Jay'z/Nas shit, people is gon' buy their shit, cuz they have proven how amazin' they can b, don't hate man. Respect dat shit dude, all these new faces r is jus' dat, muffuckas were bumpin' Mike Jones and shit, now we really sayin' "Who, Mike Jones?". I give everybody 2 their sophomore release b4 I start givin' them real respect, everybody has new flavor, and dat's tight, but progression has 2 occur. The truth is 'Pac had "It", Big'z had "It", Jay had "It", Nas had "It", these otha niggaz need 2 earn "It", and what's "It", I guess you ain't know, but when "It's" around, people listen, people sway, people support, not jus' clicks, but it transcends over everythin', not jus in a region, but fucken everywhere, so go out and look 4 "It". Peace y'all
Ol Skool said it all right there...Wu-Tang Forever!
god damn ghost face flopped again....sucks
he aint got no marketing thats why
monie luv jus hatin cuz she cant get no money
Good shit for Jeezy but I bet by the end of the fourth quarter or start of first it will drop to like 6 or 7th on the charts not because it a bad album or anything its just so much material was released this month and last that people don't get time to really soak in the content...I mean some people just gotta have the latest whatever and don't listen to it no more than 3 or 4 times. You know the type that: skim through a cd looking for the hottest beat and upt thats it neeext...
Rappers should be on some D'angelo or Dre shit release to classic albums and just say fuck it leave people fiendin for one more...
Ghostface's album is nothing, I put it on my mp3 flicked through the tracks and deleted it! But That Jeezy! From The first I heard it, I haven't stop listening to it. His whole album is Fyah The least track I like 10 and 8. T.I Killed that verse on 15! Can't wait for the video!
I haven't heard Ghostface album yet, but my little brother brought that Young Jeezy's album and it's 100% garbage. If you have his first album, why buy this one,it's the same damn songs. And people throw shots at "The Game" for saying the same shit over and over, but have anyone been listening to this dude?
Jeezys For Real...this album is worth picking up for sure
Congrads to Jeezy on his Production.
As for the skills, it's whatever.
Ghostface is nice. He's one of the few rappers that actually rap nowadays.
So whoever doesn't listen to ghostface is really missing out on some great material.
