In a recent interview with Sixshot Magazine, Buck says that though he has recorded some material for the album, he is not sure if it'll end being used.
"We worked on a few records, but I don’t actually know if he [50 Cent] is using those records for the G-Unit album. But as soon as he says go, I’m ready to go. I don’t want to put a date out there and say this is when the G-Unit album is coming out, because I honestly don’t know." Buck tells Sixshot.
"Like I said them dudes been touring and sh*t, and I’ve been here focused on getting my label off the ground, and doing my shows over here. They been overseas, so… Like I said when I get the word, I’ll give you the word." He continued.
In other news…
He also went on to reassure his fans that he is still part of the Unit, however his focus is currently elsewhere.
"I’m still a part of G- Unit and I have albums to fulfill on that end, but Ca$hville Records is my biggest focus at this point. And pretty much creating a lane for my artists and my own self. 50 [Cent] is the boss of G-Unit, know what I’m saying. So I still have a boss over at that end that I have to answer to. So when its time for us step forward with a G-Unit album and all that good stuff, I’m ready to go." Said Buck.
According to Buck, Ca$hville Records' first project, The Product Of The South, will be in stores April 1st. The album includes production from Drumma Boy, Hi-Tek, and Sha Money XL and guest appearances from Young Jeezy, Plies, Devin the Dude, and Brotha Lynch Hung.

honestly i like buck/unit...but i think its a terrible idea for any successful artist rite now to "create" a label or something...the only labels that are gonna generate real money are the power-houses and the exception of KOCH bein an indie...i wouldnt wanna see any artist i like try and leave a mainstream label to start their own cuz weve all seen how hard the industry is falling the past few years...i think the labels should converge and try and make all that money together and then split that shit up according to whose artists are bringing in the revenue
