Brutus was kidnapped at gun point and held for three days earlier this month, the kidnappers were demanding $250,000 ransom. When Jean heard about it, he appealed to the kidnappers at one of his concerts. “If there are kidnappers out there, listen to me. If we don’t stop kidnappings, the country can’t develop.” said Jean in front of 20,000 concert goers and TV cameras. The employee was released the following day unharmed. One of the kidnappers was quoted as saying “We freed the journalist after considering how much effort Wyclef is doing to help our sisters and brothers in the forgotten ghettos.”

My nigga, but 1 man can't do it himself.....
We need as many as we can get
yeah we do, but soon as the black people do get a voice the get killed out of the blue. that shit is something that is on going in haiti, they would kidnapp people who come from the U.S to visit, they would follow u from the airport, that how serious it is over there. but that was good what he did though, i give him respect on that. 1 love 1 heart 1 nation black people need to stop killing each other all over the world
The what WE have to do as a culture... as underdogs... is maintain our unity.
I know it sounds "typical" but seriously... WE NEVER stick together.
Crabs in Barrell...and until we can stop focusing on our own personal gains...we'er never going to be a strong enough force.
I got family over there so I know how crazy it gets. But it's not just there where it happens. It happens right in our own backyards. Sometimes it's not as serious as a kidnapping, it could be something as small as robbery or anything. But we do nothing or say nothing about it. I'm not going to keep rambling on but I'm from Camden,NJ...
where I'm from shit's crazy... ALWAYS...
It's never going to change unless WE as a whole do something about it.
as always
