Warrant Issued for Dmx’s Arrest
Yet another warrant has been issued for Earl “DMX” Simmons after he failed to appear at a pretrial hearing related to numerous driving violations.
Dmx was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle for driving with a suspended license as well as ticketed for
disregarding the speed limit and driving without a seatbelt on. He was also issued tickets for the unsafe lane change violations.
After missing his court date on Tuesday, April 10th, Judge Brian Hansbury gave the rapper a one-day reprieve but ordered him to appear in court yesterday Wednesday, April 11th or a warrant would be issued for his arrest.
Dmx once again failed to appear in court.
Snoop Avoids Jail
In related rapper/jail news, Snoop avoided what could have been a year long prison sentence yesterday (April 11th) by pleading no contest to felony charges of weapons and drugs possession.
Snoop agreed to five years probation and 800 hours of community service in exchange for his freedom. According to Billboard.com, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Terry Smerling placed conditions on the probation, including that only 400 hours of the community service could involve Snoop’s well-known youth football league.
The Judge also ruled that Snoop can not have gang members in his entourage as well as notify the probation department before leaving the state.
