Chicago mc Twista has launched a new record label called the Get Money Gang and is planning to release its inaugural album, Speednkot Monsters as their first project.

Liffy Stokes and Mayz, who collectivley make that outfit, appeared on Twista's 1997 album Adrenaline Rush and shortly thereafter released their debut album, Mobstability. Their new album will be titled Mobstability II: Nation Business and will be distributed by Koch Records.

Jim Jones and Twista will also be making appearnaces on the duos album.

"The album is the streets just like the first one was. We don't have to create a fake image; we just have to let our soul speak to the people.", says Mayz.

Rahzel Gears Up For New Album

In other news, releasing his 3rd solo effort since parting ways with The Roots, classic beat-boxer, Rahzel, will be pushing out his new album titled, "Greatest Knockouts Vol. 2".

The album is due out this summer and is being released on singer Mike Patton's label, Ipecac Records.

Touring this month, he will be testing out some of his new material. "It's still hip-hop, " Rahzel said. He continued, "It's like the music I grew up on, the music that made all of these things that are present now in existance. So i'm continuing that with raw beats, raw rhymes, beat boxing, rhyming. The whole nine."

I support these niggaz and though they so underated and slept on(Speed Knot Mobstas) They keep it real as far as wutz goin on and really can’t sell cuz they ain’t always bout 26’s and ice like tha rest of these clowns but I hope all works out. My nigga Twista (Get A Different Chain) I hate that damn chain. Reminds me of Pharrell skate boarding azz. I know he can do betta, album sales can’t b that bad.

Honestly B, who can tell me where else Twista is remotely relevant outside Chicago? …I though so, don’t get me wrong son is nice, but he’s no record executive nigga. Didn’t this nigga have he’s own corny ass label before the ROC signed him? And when did he go platinum again? You damn right he had other cats calling shots for him, deciding what beats to rock & who to roc with,…Listen being a record exec ain’t a walk in the park. This is the problem with the industry now; you have Mc’s trying to be Record Execs & Execs trying to be Mc’s. Everybody wants that quick gwap, who’s purely just an artist now? Man honestly Twista shouldn’t expect a buck from me…
And as far az Rahzel goes, son is a legend he will go down in history (if he’s no already), I will copp his work heavy, fuck what you heard,…I can’t wait for this joint.

thats good to hear, but i dont expect much out of it twista is so underrated when he is one of the most lyrical and nastiest on the mic in my opinion, hope he can manage a label
