Paper Trail, the 6th solo offering from Atlanta rapper T.I., debuts at #1 this week on the Top Rap Albums chart on Billboard. According to Billboard, the album, which features guest appearances by powerhouse hit makers Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Ludacris, earned a gold plaque in its opening week by scanning 569,300 discs.
In addition, TI breaks his own record by blasting through the charts with his single "Live Your Life" featuring Rihanna. The track moved from #80 to #1 on the Hot Billboard charts and it sold 335,000 downloads this week in the United States.
Six weeks ago, T.I. created a record by jumping 71-1 with "Whatever You Like," which slips to No. 2 on the Hot 100 but remains atop Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a third week.

The album is ridiculous. Start to finish it's something special. Production was amazing, lyrics went hard, feel was perfect. Just an all out great album. Glad I did my part in supporting this dude (and hip hop) by buying his album.
