T.I. has been ordered to pay more child support to the mother of two of his children after she claimed he wasn't providing enough money for her to take care of her kids. The rapper's baby's mama, Lashon Dixon, had taken him to court earlier this month and said that the monthly payments of $2000 that she received from the rapper wasn't enough to support her and their two sons.
Judge Bensonetta Tipson made a ruling yesterday that T.I must pay just over $3,000 a month to Dixon. He was
also ordered to pay for the children's private school tuition,
uninsured medical bills and extracurricular activities.
On the brighter side though, Tipton also gave Dixon and T.I. joint custody of the boys, ages 7 and 8. Dixon was granted primary physical custody of the boys who had been spending 40% of their time with their father.
“Every little bit helps,” Dixon's lawyer, Randy Kessler said. “She was just getting by with the children, while they lived a different life with their father. It can’t be complete opposites on the other side.”
