As reported earlier, The Game pleaded not guilty to various charges including making criminal threats, possession of a firearm in a school zone and exhibiting a firearm on the grounds of a facility for minors.
According to TMZ, Game's lawyers want LAPD to be held in contempt for withholding $44,000 they confiscated from his home in May of '07.
A hearing is scheduled for January 22nd to decide whether action will be taken against the LAPD.
The Game has pleaded not guilty to the charges and could face more than 5 years in prison if found guilty.
