The Game, who turned himself in to L.A.'s Twin Towers Correctional Facilities to begin serving a 60 day sentence last week is officially a free man after serving a little bit over a week.
“I apologize for the conflicting news on my release, but due to the sensitive negotiations on this matter I felt it appropriate not to give an exact date on my release." Said the rapper in a statement released yesterday (Thursday, March 13th).
"I am truly grateful to my attorney, family and management for doing a great job in this respect. Upon my release I went directly to the studio with producers Cool & Dre and recorded several records including my street record ‘Big Dreams.’ Thank you to all my fans as well for the support.”

On Monday, March 10th, media outlets released reports of Game's extremely early release. On the very same day however, Game's manager, Jimmy Rosemond, issued a release claiming the rapper was simply being transferred to another prison. The confusion continued after both Twin Tower reps and Game's attorney told MTV News that the "One Blood" hitmaker was released.
Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, 150 hours of community service and three years probation after pleading no contest to a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone .

I told you nickas, I just did 6 days days on a 60 day stretch in LA County. THe ACLU has a court order that the jail must release a significant amount of prisoners after serving 10% of their sentence due to severe overcrowding. The only reason why he did more than six days was because this was sort of a violent offense.
