Earlier reports suggested that L.A.X. would be pushed back till August 12th or the 19th. The rapper had also requested to move the album up to July 15th, not wanting to against pop star Miley Cyrus.
Producers Cool & Dre stopped by at the listening party, as they contributed to 5 tracks off the album including "Red Magic" and "My Life," both which feature Lil Wayne. Other producers who are set to be on the record are Nottz, Jelly Roll, J.R. Rotem, Kanye West, and The Trackmasters.
At the event, The Game did not state a reason as to why the album is being pushed back one more month. However—the rapper did say a song that wasn't on the earlier tracklisting featuring Nas—was confirmed to be on the album. The song is dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr.
