Charles White, 20, an aspiring rapper, was killed execution-style in a house on 176th St. in Queens about 12:20 a.m., said police. He was found dead on a sofa with a pillow over his head, two bullet wounds behind his ear and a leg wound, a source said.
Reports say White’s murder may have been in retaliation for the death of the 24 year old Dipset star rapper Stack Bundles who was murdered in the lobby of his Far Rockaway residence on June 11.
Law enforcement alleges that White may have gone to Virginia, where he lived, right after the Elliott murder, but returned to New York last Saturday with friend Kelvin Brown, 27, who had just left the home when White was shot. After hearing the shots, Brown ran back into the home and called police.
No arrests have been made in either Bundles’ or White’s murder . The investigation is still pending.
Hundreds paid their respects to Stack Bundles at his funeral yesterday (June 18). Maino, Joe Budden, Lupe Fiasco, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana were just some of those in attendance during services at the J. Foster Phillips Funeral Home in Queens.
