Snoop Dogg Pleads Guilty
West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg was sentenced to 160 hours of community service after pleading guilty to one count of felony possession of a dangerous weapon yesterday (Thursday) in Santa Ana, California.According to the Associated Press, Snoop was arrested in September 2006 after the discovery of a collapsible baton in his computer bag at John Wayne Airport in Orange County.
Snoop, who claimed the baton was a prop for a video he was currently filming, accepted a plea deal which would reduce the felony conviction to a misdemeanor after one year if he does not violate the law.
He was also ordered to make a $10,000 charitable donation.
Hell Rell & Duke Da God Arrested
In other news, Dipset members Hell Rell and Duke Da God were arrested in Grove City, Ohio, after officers found marijuana on Duke and arrested both men.
According to XXL, the two reportedly at a Blockbuster Video store in Grove City when employees accused them of stealing. The police were eventually called and searched both men—finding marijuana on Duke Da god.
