Apparently, 50 will not be going into retirement (surprise, surprise). Despite reports that he said he would leave the game if Kanye sold more than he did.

As for 50, my view on him is sure he's a great businessman when it comes to looking past his music...but he was just a rapper that helped rap move past the ja rule era and now music is moving beyond 50 cent...keep in mind europe and the rest of the world is slow when it comes to rap and hip hop...hopefully evolving for the best.

You got it backwards. Jay just pulled a radio deal and 50 used a gimmick to sell records, saying he'd retire if outsold. Then he pulls a technicality where despite losing nationally and internationally, he won European sales(according to him. I'm not gonna check the facts, yet) and doesn't feel the need to retire.
