In a rather odd Public Relations campaign, the Singapore Government who are widely known for strict censorship of movies and other media, has produced a rap video and posted it on Youtube.com
In other news…
According to Reuters, the video, created by Singapore's Media Development Authority, features a number of corporate-executive types using rap-video gestures and "singing" lyrics extolling the advantages of doing business in Singapore. It cuts away to a number of actual corporate executives who contribute their own verses to the "song."
Singapore's Media Development Authority has gained world wide notoriety for what many consider to be extreme censorship laws. They have banned a bevy of videogames, music, movies, and books--and currently control all free-to-air terrestrial local TV channels licensed to broadcast in Singapore, as well as 14 radio channels.
