Scarface preps New Album
After a hiatus that has lasted for over five years, the legendary Southern rapper Scarface will step back in the booth to release “Undisputed.”Scarface, who has always had good ties with Def Jam, and was a major factor in the label discovering Ludacris while running Def Jam’s Southern division, will be releasing the solo project on the label as a one album contract deal signed a month ago.
During his hiatus, he’s released a reunion album with Getto Boys, started another group, “The Product”, and has been doing features with artists such as UGK, Z-Ro and Ray Cash.
‘Undisputed’ will feature production from Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Hi-Tek, Salih Williams and DJ Paul & Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia. With guests features from Ludacris, 2 Pac, Snoop Dogg, Z-Ro, UGK, Bushwick Bill, Kelly Rowland and more.
Trina has No Problem with 50 cent
In other news, according to Trina,there is no reason to expect her to join the bandwagon of 50 cent haters. Although he claimed in the song “Fully Loaded Clip” that she was cheating on Lil Wayne with Young Buck, the Baddest Chick isn’t even thinking about putting out a diss record.“I don’t have a problem with him,” she tells MTV. “I don’t think he has a problem with me. It’s 50. 50 does what 50 does. You gotta love him for it. There will be no 50 disses from Trina. I’m so positive. I don’t get into the negative because it takes away from my swagger, and I’m not benefiting from that. I’m not getting a check from that.”
Instead she plans to continue working on her forthcoming LP, Da Baddest B—-h Part 2: Reloaded, due later this year.
