Coming off a rough couple of weeks after airing it out with producer Just Blaze over the web and signing to Violator Management, New York rapper Saigon is gearing up for the release of his major debut LP, The Greatest Story Never Told, with the release of the first official single Don’t You Baby set to drop this week.
“We just got the sample clear, we had a big sample clearance holding it up. Pain In My Life is not a single. I just dropped that on my own without the record company. The first official single is called “Don’tcha Baby” [featuring Jay Z] coming out this week, we’re mastering it on Tuesday and releasing it soon after” Saigon told Defsounds.
The highly anticipated album is also set to feature and all star roster as well as a collabo with Jay Z. “I got Jay Z on it, Q Tip, Fatman Scoop, Faith Evans, Devin Da Dude, and Trey Songz” said Saigon.
Though the album is ready, Saigon says no release date has been issued but it’s definitely dropping this summer. The rumored track list is as follows:
