Who favorited?Russell Simmons Suing Def Jam?

The lawsuits in Hip Hop seem to be more common than the flu now-a-days. According to his latest twitter update, Russell Simmons may be preparing to sue the very label he birthed along with Rick Rubin in 1984.
"Can't believe I'm suing defjam," the update reads.
"They are now trying to eat my lunch? Unbelievable bulles..unprecedented stupidity on their part"
No word as to why Simmons is preparing to wage a legal war on the label or as to what exactly he is referring to.
Simmons promptly retracted his statement with another update stating "Oops my lawyers are pissed. I wasn't supposed to tweet dat :-(," which he has also since deleted.
Simmons sold his stake in the record company for $100 million to Universal Music Group in 1999.

I know I’m off topic but lil wayne might be the last rapper to sell a milli in a week. Kanye is the only one I can think of who could come close.

- Marquis Sade, i think major labels are responsible for fucking up the industry for as much as they are keeping it alive. Major labels get to pick the songs they want and botch up your work as they please to maximize profit. Had it not been for the internet and the mixtape business we would be missing SOME of the few good artist there are out there.
