Ruff Ryders CEO Dee charged with posession of cocaine
After a traffic stop in NJ on May 31st, Ruff Ryders CEO Darrin Dean was found with weapons, and over a kilo of cocaine in his SUV.As reported by The Record, Palisades Interstate law enforcement halted the vehicle for notification of a broken taillight, as they were heading to their destination. Jerry Gilbert, who was driving the vehicle, claimed they were returning from Dee’s NYC home.
Immediately noticing the smell of marijuana in the SUV, the police brought in a special dog from the K-9 Unit. They then found a concealed door in the bottom of the vehicle, containing 1.5 Kilos of cocaine, and loaded .45. Both Dean and Gilbert were charged with possession of a handgun, possession of a handgun while conducting narcotics violations, posession of cocaine, and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.
They were released from Bergen County jail on June 1st, after posting the $342,500 bail.
Keith Murray sets release date for new album
Keith claims that the LP’s name stems from a fear of what Sermon calls “real Hip-Hop”. The album’s first single, “Nobody Do it Better” featuring Junior and Tyrese, is climbing the charts, and a video is being planned soon.
Murray also hinted at plans for a summer tour.
