In a phone interview with Media Take Out, Peedi, who's been taking numerous shots at former Def Jam president Jay Z, claimed a Roc-A-Fella A&R told him the label was being dismantled.
“There’s no more Roc-A-Fella. Everyone’s free to leave.” Peedi claims the A&R told him.
However, according to Billboard.com, Peedi along with Kanye West, Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Tru Life, Dj Clue, Memphis Bleek, Young Gunz, and Hector Bambino are all still part of the label.
"Beans and Freeway didn't get dropped," Beanie Sigel's manager, Mark Byers tells Billboard.

"I just got off the phone with L.A. Reid talking about the next video for ‘Rain’ featuring Raheem DeVaughn that we're about to release. We're re-launching Beanie's project and releasing a ‘Rain’ remix with State Property."
The entire State Property camp, Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Oschino & Sparks, Young Gunz, and Peedi Crack are currently preparing a group album due out this summer via Def Jam.
As reported earlier this year, Jay Z resigned as Def Jam president but still has one more album left on his contract with the company. His inner camp, including A&R Senior VP Jay Brow and A&R VP Tyran "Ty Ty" smith also walked away from their positions.
