Who favorited?Remy's Victim Sues Everyone

Despite already being incarcerated Makeda Barnes Joseph, the
woman who was shot by Remy Ma seems to not be satisfied with the prison
sentence and has now filed a lawsuit against the rapper.... as well as her label and
the pizza shop that they were at before the incident occurred.
In the new suit, Joseph claims that Remy's former label Universal and Sure
Shot Recordings were receiving "financial and economic benefit from the
unlawful, violent, and anti - social conduct of the rapper." Along with
Remy and the labels, Joseph has also included the Pizza Bar where the two were
before the shooting occurred. She is seeking compensation from the downtown Manhattan
restaurant because she feels they continued to serve the former Terror Squad
rapper after she was clearly intoxicated.
Barnes is also claiming that she is still suffering from "great
physical and mental pain and has been emotionally damaged from the incident
with Remy."

In a statement for the suit it reads:
"Any and all financial profit and economic benefit which the
[defendants] gained and continues to gain from their promotion and publicizing
of the shooting of [Makeda] is gained at [her] detriment and thereby entitles
[her] to damages from the [defendants] in an amount no less that the total
amount of any and all monetary profit earned."
So far there has been no response from Remy's lawyers, the representatives
from Universal, Sure Shot, and the Pizza Bar.

But, just because u get shot by someone famous, you’re not entitled to every penny that they would have made. People get shot and stabbed everyday, and how many of them receive financial compensation, let alone see there perpetrator do hard time.
The claims she made are just fucking ridiculous. She’s suing the pizza shop because they got Remy a lil bit too hammered, i mean come on if that was a crime half of us would be in jail.
Also, claiming that Universal was making money from Remy’s disorderly conduct, and that therefore she should be entitled to that same amount of money, is just as fucking ridiculous. Even if thats true, how can she judge how much money universal made of Remy’s “gangster” image, and then what about all the other people Remy might have done shit too. Makin artists look g’d up is appealing to the preteens and white teens across America, so alot of labels are doing it with there artists. I mean look at guys like Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Shawty-Lo, thats one of the main things they got goin for them is that image of them being gangster, it doesn’t mean that they are, or that if they have a run in with somebody they should have to pay them all the money they would have made, they should just have to do there time like men.
I mean shit, if I could make every penny Rick Ross wus making, i’d put a gun to that fat nigga’s head n make him shoot me LOL.
