Philadelphia bred rapper, Cassidy, was critically injured while heading to a recording studio in Yonkers from New Jersey last night (Oct. 4th).
While many details remain unclear, it is believed a U-Haul truck swerved into on-coming traffic and struck the passenger side of the SUV Cassidy was riding in.
Cassidy, born Barry Reese, suffered a fractured skull. There were four other passengers, however, their conditions are unkown at this time.
“He was the only one that suffered critical injuries,” a representative for Cassidy’s label Sony/BMG told AllHipHop.com. “[He suffered] a fractured skull and broken bones on the left side of his face.”
