Raekwon Album To Be Released Next March, Tour Dates

http://media.defsounds.com/uploads/assets/1605/1629/11497/asset.jpgWu-Tang fire spitter, Raekwon The Chef, will be releasing a 'sequel' to his critically acclaimed hip-hop classic, 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx'. The album, is scheduled to be released in March of next year and will not be being released on Dr. Dre's Aftermath label.

While Dre has been caught up in the process of his own long awaited album, Detox, Rae will be releasing this album through his own company, Icewater Records. A recent press release confirmed the March '09 date and stated that 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II' will feature production from RZA, Dr. Dre, DJ Scratch, Marley Marl, Scram Jones, Pete Rock and the late J-Dilla among others. Guest appearances on the LP will be Busta Rhymes, Travis Barker and fellow Wu-Tang members Method Man, Ghostface Killah, GZA and Inspectah Deck.

Until then, you can catch Wu-Tang in the US on their Fall/Winter tour at the following venues:

I think even without Ghostface on every track (i want to see him on at least half or more because the first Cuban Linx ghostface killed it) with Gza and Inspecta Deck he can make up for it. Listion to Gold and Cold World which features Deck off Liquid Swords. Thats some Cubin Linx stuff with a somehow darker tone.
