Prodigy Finishes Return Of The Mac
Mobb Deep’s Prodigy has finished work on one of two albums due out this year. As previously reported, Prodigy will soon be releasing two new albums,”H.N.I.C 2” and “Return of the Mac” which is being produced by The Alchemist.“When we made (‘Return of the Mac’), it was just like a warm-up tape, like a mix tape with a concept to it, just to get people ready for the next album,” Prodigy tells Billboard.com. “But the way Alchemist flipped it and put it all together as a package, it made it more than all that, and we started looking around for how we were gonna put it out.”
“We figured we were gonna just throw it on the street,” said Alchemist. “But once we started creating it, it had its own vibe and developed into what it is now, which is, basically, an album.”
“Return of the Mac,” will hit stores on March 27, and “H.N.I.C. 2” is due out in late spring or early summer.TI Wins Big Overseas
